Chevy truck dies uphill

So my 88 Chevy Silverado has a 350 but the
damm thing will not go uphill it sputters and
dies  I'm lost ...please help.

What I mean by that is it's time to change your spark plugs and wires and set the timing

its possible that its starving for fuel when going uphill puts greater need for fuel. fuel filter could be partially plugged but more than likely a timing sensor
