I have a 94 chevy Silverado 1500 5.7 350 and when
i put it in drive or reverse it dies on me not sure
what the problem is and when im driving the rmps
will go up but the truck will respond late can
someone help me out

Sounds like you may have some sort of fuel issue. Try replacing the fuel filter first, and add some fuel injection cleaner into the gas tank. If this does not clear up the problem, then further diagnostics would need to be done with a fuel pressure gauge to see if it would be the fuel pump or fuel regulator in the TBI.
