2002 chevy s10 engine turn over but want start

i was driving down the road one day and it jus seem to loose power then
shake then cut off right away

Try spraying some starting fluid down the throttle body. It should run a few seconds on that. If so, it's a fuel problem. Possibly the fuel pump has quit. If not, it's either an ignition (no spark) problem or it's jumped timing. Check for spark first. If you have spark, then run a compression test. If all cylinders test very low or zero, it's jumped timing. HTH. -Jim
