Burning thru entire oil before 5000k oil changes. Advise needed

Yes, any car that goes through oil quickly should be checked often. Now, you need to assess what's causing the engine to use oil so fast. If you have any dash warning lights, have codes read. Then you need to have the engine's condition evaluated by a mechanic. It might be something simple, like a defective PCV valve, or it might be something major. If left unrepaired it could cost you an engine, but you might need an engine anyway.
