Check the dipstick. You may have spun a rod bearing, or something like that

Hmm...My daughter juste checked it and said the dipstick is around Max. I put 2 quarts plus the additive. Still shakes just turning the engine on...

Where the piston rod connects to crankshaft. Oil is critical there. Oil is critical everywhere but that's one of the first things to burn up from lack of lubrication. If it burns up the bearing spins and can partially seize your motor, friction causing a drag

What sounds does the engine make? Is there a thumping noise or grinding noise? You said it shakes, did this do that before your daughter ran the engine out of oil? If she did and continued to run the motor until it quit, you may need an engine replacement or major rebuild. Are you sure the dip stick now shows the engine is full of oil?

If two quarts of oil brought it up to Max then you didn't run it out of oil. It holds around 5 quarts and will run just fine on less than two although I'm not suggesting you should do that. This sounds much more like a timing chain issue. Don't run it anymore until you know what it is. If the chain fails you could easily do valve damage to the engine. If you aren't able to work on it yourself its time to have it towed in and get a professional opinion.

My car used to idle like this and I just replaced the censor that's in the air filter (forgot what it was called) and it stopped idling so low and it also stopped stalling on me when I drove it. So that seemed to of work.
