My 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt ac leads into passenger compartment

Asked by HSG134 Sep 06, 2014 at 08:13 PM about the Chevrolet Cobalt

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It was soaking the carpet and getting into
the blower motor. It sounded like water
boiling. Finally the blower motor shorted
out and now has to be replaced. But if I
replace the motor water will still leak into it.
My question how is water leaking in the
motor and onto the carpet and how can I fix
it
