4.8 excessive fuel in oil

Asked by GuruNSN5T Oct 30, 2019 at 08:12 PM about the Chevrolet Chevy Van

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 4.8 that has sat for a year.  Started right up but after moving it a short
distance a couple times it wouldn’t start.  Turns out the cylinders are all full of
gas. I do recall It used to smoke a lot when it was in service.

Leaking fuel pressure regulator or leaking injectors. Have seen both on GM vehicles.
