A wire or wires were probably cut or disconnected. First check your fuses and if that does not do it I would call the mechanic and tell him what is going on. Your car is not safe to drive without brake lights.

i talked to him and he said anything he did couldnt have caused thie really i had all the lights working when it came to your shop grrr well is there anyway of hard wiring them to make them work
