purchasing a car

Just some basics, but research prices before you go, figure out how much you can afford, talk to a bank. You should bring your drivers license, maybe a check if your putting money down to hold the car, and maybe bring a friend as backup to look the car over for you. Once you agree on a car and price, you can work out the payment and insurance, a date your picking up the car, etc.

Identification and cash or check if you are not financing it. If financing you will need driver's license, proof of insurance and cash or check for the down payment if there is one. If you are trading a vehicle in, you will need to bring it's title and or lien release if it is paid off or name and address of lender if money is still owed on it.
