why is my radiotor on my camaro getting slushy im scared to try to start it

i have my car sitting in a pole barnt to get fixed when i get the money but why is my anti freeze slushy just on top?

you may want to do a drain flush,refill with collent,sounds like their is more water than antifreeze in the cooling system.if you live where it gets down right cold,especally at night,do not put the 50/50 pre mix in it,1 gallon of pure antifreeze,top off with distelled water or 2 gal of antifreeze.

id drain some and refill with straight coolant like the other guy said jjust slushy isnt bad but if it actualy freezez you could crack the block if the freeze plugs dont do there job personaly id do somthing about it but im picky

the beast started up yesterday got a tick somewere but hell the beast is alive muhhaaa

the ticking u here is just a lifter tap,where it has been setting,oil and filter change plus a bottle of stp oil treatment should cure the problem,did you do the antifreze change.

yeah i put some in her ill try that stp stuff i know the 3.1 were notorious for that lifter nock
