Engine knock at start up

My 2002 has a ticking knock when I first
start the car but goes away after warmed
should I be concernd

yes..change the oil and filter and add some oil additive...like..lucas.

There was a thing gm called piston slap that occurred on the 4.3. They have gone for years like that but it sounds like crap when started cold and can last up to 5 min. But without hearing it is hard to tell you if that's it.
