will a 98 s10 blazer transmission work in a 03 blazer ls ?

i have 2 chevy s10 blazers both are ls'.my 98 the engine is bad but tranny is good , the
03 engine is good but tranny isnt shifting right. are the transmissions interchangeable ?

Yes they both have a 4L60e. But, as long as they are both 2wd or both 4wd. The 4wd tranny has a shorter output shaft to connect to the transfer case.

I have a 2005 trail blazer I swipe a 2000 blazer tranmission into it I had to change the tail end and the neutral safte switch because harness didn't match did all that put in truck everything fit now nothing work do I have to have computer scan or something?
