1995 Grand Jeep Larado Over drive switch. Will not go into OD. Light stays on. Can I just unplug switch and drive with using the switch?

OD switch will not go into overdrive. Can I just unplug switch and drive jeep with out the switch?

Are you sure it's the switch? Could be a wiring problem, relay feedback, solenoid grounded or shorted. But if it is just the switch then on this year you should be able to disconnect the switch without setting any codes.
