Thumping engine noise

As I start my Jeep, this thump thump thump noise occurs, and it randomly turns off,
but the noise sometimes continues when driving and speeds up as I speed up.  As I
accelerate, the oil pressure gauge goes up as well and when I let off the gas the
gauge goes down.  What is this noise going on?

check the dynamo the part responsible for sending electricity when u turn on the engine or the belt connecting the inner circles
