im stranded,,, a tire shredded from running low and now come off the rim somewhere, its dark and 30 mile to home, the rim is noisy driving along ,its shot im sure so i keep going back country roads and few drivers Questions is , will this tilt of Cherokee wagon driving cause alignment problems .angle is about 30 degrees facing away from moon
I'm sure you know what a spare tire is for, so I won't go into that. Running on a bare rim tilt the car and changes how forces apply to the rest of the car's geometry. After driving this way for a while, have tires replaced (they need to be the same side-to-side, and all four when in 4WD). Have the alignment done, as it will be out due to this. You might find added damage on suspension & steering parts, so have rods, ends, and joints checked, as well.
