I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. I had transmission fluid changed and the pan. Now it appears to run hot but not from the radiator. What could be the problem?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This is a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GT.  The trans seems to slip from time to time and
also when pulling from a red light after a complete stop the trans seems to jerk.

It was slipping but not running hot. I can't turn the heater on because it will cause it to be hot. Someone said that the transmission is not cooling down. So I don't know if this is caused by me draining and filling it back up or not. The radiator is not running hot its the transmission. What can I do to fix this problem?
