Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have a 1999 and
someone is selling/giving

wondering if the parts

That's a pretty wide gap in years, a lot will change on a model over that many years, plus 1996 saw a big changeover in engine computers and the OBD system.

So parts like the trunk hood and heater core and passenger doors will not fitexternal parts rims and bumps

A 92 and 99 Bonneville are part of the same generation (9th) so you may have some luck as far as body panels swapping, or things like wheel rims and radiators, the big changes between those years were engine management systems (OBD1 to OBD2) and intakes, so engine parts are less certain to swap over.
