The engine code po012 means everything is good. Not showing a problem.

There was no year listed so 12 is for the OBD1 computer. So for a OBDII computer if your vehicle has one, P0012 MINI - 'A' Camshaft Position Timing Over-Retarded Bank 1...Possible causes: Faulty VANOS solenoid, Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor, Mechanical timing condition...Here is a video on it... https://youtu.be/Rkr79T6yHKk
