engine acceleration

Asked by GuruCL7N8 Feb 19, 2019 at 05:57 PM about the Mitsubishi Outlander

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I try accelerate quickly either from a dead stop or travelling at any speed
the car stalls. I have had 2 diagnostic tests done and nothing is showing up as
a problem. I was told it could be a sensor.  Any advise?

If it were a failed sensor, a code should be showing up on a scanner. It may be a fuel filter or pressure problem, which does not always show up in scan.
