Why does my Mitsubishi tranny slip only after driving over 10 miles?
Fluid is full, never slips cold.
My guess is the hydraulic operating pressures drop when the fluid is warm and thin.
So could a fluid and filter change fix this and do you have to drop the tranny to do it? ('02 ES)
I would try a fluid change to see if it helps but if it does not you may be looking at a rebuild.
Does the filter change require dropping the tranny?
