I need to know which other Galant years or any other type cars that i can use the tranmission out of

the topic says it all i need to find out which tranmissions are interchangable with my car.

Is it an automatic or manual? SOHC engine or DOHC? Also is it front wheel drive or all wheel?

automatic dont know if SOHC engine or DOHC or even whtathat means and it is two wheel drive

SOHC is single overhead cam. DOHC is dual overhead cam. I'm guessing yours is probably SOHC. If that is correct, the only transmissions you can replace it with are from a Galant with the same setup as yours from the years 1990 to 1992. If it is DOHC, the only one that will work is from a DOHC, front wheel drive 1991 Galant.

I'm thinking you might have the doch... look under your hood at the valve cover, engine top, if it says doch then thats what you have, if it says soch or nothing then you probably have an soch.
