If I agree to an offer to sell my car. Am I bound to that offer or is it my choice to sell to anyone who shows up with money?

I agree to an offer from Buyer A.  Not so sure it's a legit offer or not, but Buyer B has money and is ready to buy.  Can I go with the sure deal of Buyer B or am I stuck with waiting for Buyer A to play out first?

First one with money, ever since there was an offer' system, 9 out of 10 it seems aren't legit. Just spammers/scammers.
