I bought a new 2019 X3 and for some odd
reason they told me I didn’t request the
driving assistance package which comes
with the blind spot detector. Is there a way I
can get this installed?

me too. I am looking for answers as well. The dealer told me after market would run about 1500 whereas it was a 500 add on.I am thinking about which parts might be needed. The car probably has the controls already. I am trying to find the answers,
