Wary of a manufacturer buyback vehicle?

Should I be wary of buying a 2011 Subaru Outback that is a "manufacturer buyback"? The dealer says the car had a misfire on one of the cylinders and that the the problem has been repaired and the car has had on other problems. The price is great and it has several years left on the warranty, but I'm told that the original problem is on the title and will follow the vehicle forever.

The only reson the mfg had to buy it back was because they either could not fix it, or not fix it in a timely manner, or they repeatedly tried to fix it and the previous owner had to keep bringing it back. Just because it's working now, doesn;t mean it will be working for the long haul. And the title issue will be HUGE when you go to sell it one day. The price offered would have to a spectacular and carry a huge "back out" clause if you have a single episode of the original problem. Good luck.
