why is subaru making such an unreliable car?

why would the transmission go out without any warning and at such low mileage of 72000.  The dealership in Ontario California did complete service maintenance 7 months prior to breakdown.

these are not for "load duty"...but more of a scientific instrument...you either put them to the test or everyday driver's ye be~

Well, it could be abuse or negligence. What are you attempting to imply or insinuate by mentioning that the car was serviced 7 months prior to the breakdown? Do you have the complete statistics on this failure mode for you model Subaru and how does that compare to the rest of the industry?
