Car wont start, please help!

we put the car in storage, gutted the interior, my dad did something to disable
the fuel pump from working because he was worried of it getting stolen. we cant
find what he did now. it isnt the trunk switch. it has spark, and it will run on
starting fluid. there is fuel pressure when we jumper wire the fuel pump test
connection. the injectors seem to be disabled, but dad cant remember what he
did. he knows it was something simple, but cant remember what it was.

did you check for an EFI, ECU relay or fuse to see if it's been pulled out?

the fuel pump test works, the fuel pump will run, does that mean all of the fuses and the fuel pump relay are good. or does the test skip any of them?

everything on the ecm is plugged in, he didnt mess with anything like that, there is one that isnt plugged in back there, it is a one pin connector and we cant seem to find where it goes.

there are a few things that need to be checked, first check the fuse box for a simple fuse that's a 20 amp. from 91 thru 94 this fuse will stop the car from starting. another thing to check is the timing belt alignment. The reason is because this particular car has a problem with shearing the crank pin and the timing will be off by about 30 degrees or more.simple way to check is to pull the cam cover,remove # 1 spark plug and bring to top dead center using a screw driver in the plug hole and see if timing marks are all in alignment,if not,then remove the crank pulleys and check the pin alignment of the crank with the alignment of the crank gear.also make sure that after being stored for so long that the fuel didn't turn to varnish around the fuel injectors preventing fuel to reach the chamber.The one pin connector ,if located in toward the center console probably goes to the cig lighter.these cars were all wired basically the same and they have a lot of optional equipment and all are wired for such.if you can inform me of what color wire is this connector and what year capri do you have
K apparently some people just can't read or comprehend a question. THE CAR STARTS AND RUNS WITH STARTING FLUID OR GAS PLACED DIRECTLY IN INTAKE. HOW IN HELL DOES IT MATTER WHAT THE CRANKSHAFT IS DOING??? HES NOT GETTING POWER TO THE INJECTORS WIZARD. IF YOU CANT HELP ,STAY OUT.
