Heat only blows through the defrost no matter what position the dial is in

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Transmission was replaced and the van came back with the heat only blowing through
the defrost position. Repair shop said it was not them.
Any ideas would help.

Mode actuator is not operating properly. What year model is yours so I can dig deeper into what might actually be wrong.
