1965 Thuderbird

I just purchased a 1965 TB project car, I'm changing the battery cables on it, I
not sure which is the positive and negitive.  One cable is connected to the
starter, is it the neg?

One going to the frame and motor is negative. The one going to the fuse box and starter is the positive.
