under the steering wheel theres a slot for a board to slide in , I lost the board does anyone know how to bypass this

Sounds like one of those POS starter interrupt systems. Usually, there are 6 wires attached. Only two of them operate your starter. A little tracing of the wiring should lead you to the two matching wire colors that just need to be sliced back together.
If you lost the board, why jury rig it? Check junk yards, Craigs List and eBay for a used one. Plug it in, no accidental shorting anything, no fire and start it up.
