Dysfunctional after battery replacement

Why is it that after replacing the battery nothing
works in my Ford Focus? The windshield wipers
don't turn on the windows don't go up and down
the AC doesn't work

It sounds like you failed to use the preset saver tool before disconnecting the main power supply, this tool plugs right into the OBD2 port and keeps the memory active until a new battery is installed. If this is the case then the only place that can reflash the vehicle is the dealer, runs about a hundred bucks for a reflash.
