Drove my truck shift just fine but got home
and wouldn't go into park or release the key
do to in being able to go into park . Any
ideals what this be?

Linkage adjuster could be switch on brake pedal

There is a brake-shift interlock that prevents you from shifting out of park without depressing the brake. Yours is broken. Without the shifter going into Park, the car won't let you remove the ignition key.
