What is wrong with my clutch?

my clutch has not been working right. ill start up my truck then push clutch in and try to put it in gear but it bumps then i push it in.
when i change gears, i push clutch in and it doesnt act like it disengage gear because rpm drops as if it is still in gear and i pull
shifter out then rpm drops normal and i got to push it into next gear. if i let it warm up awhile before driving it does better but not
much. i have to drive it a couple miles before it acts right. so i think its either air in it or loose linkage. what yall think? its a '89
f250 4X4 with 351W followed by 4 speed with overdrive trans.

Your truck has a hydraulic clutch linkage so I would make sure the clutch master cylinder is full of fluid. If its not yuo have a leaking line or the master/slave cylinder may have a seal out. If it is empty you will have to bleed the system like you would breaks to purge all the air out.
