can I put in a 4r75e inplace of a 4r70w if so what will I have to do to get it to work

I put a 4r75e in my 03 f150 I pulled out a 4r70w now the trany will work great
but u can not hook up the speeded od or it will go to a 100 at 20 to 30 mph
what can I do to get this right.
