i have a 97 f150 xlt 4.6 2wd can i take a 4.6 xlt 4wd from a 2002 f150 and change the end cap from my old tranny and make it work

matching up the electrical/,sensors/EVAP/o2 would be harder than putting it in , keep both vehicles round till your up and running
