car was just bought ...had to replace timing chain....everything works but car will not start...cranks but will not start....car sit for three years

starter may be locked up. Tap it with a hammer or replace it.

Check the coil and wires and make sure all the wires go to the correct cylinder and make sure the coil is not cracked on the bottom, you will have to remove it to see the crack

Well assuming the timing is right. U should check for fuel and air, unplug the mass air sensor and see if it starts. Otherwise check that u have fuel and fuel pressaure at the fuel rail
