How to reprogram an alarm key to a 2004 Ford Escape

How can I reset my my alarm key my alarm key for
my Ford Escape when I had to get a change
because the first one was lost and now my car will
not start without unhooking the alarm

I think you need two factory keys to set up another one. You will need to have a Ford dealer program your key.

Look on YouTube how to program key on that particular car. I've done before with my Lexus and Honda Accord. I didn't lost any keys just having extra. It's not that hard to program, dealerships cost you around $150.00 for a 3 minutes job.
