The fuse would be in the fuse box and are marked to what circuit that fuse is plugged into. If there is a cover over the fuse box locations would be marked on the inside of the cover.

The panel is easily found. No cover. The slots are marked with numbers. What are the big, round metal fuzes for?

They are relays for different things, head light, break lights, horn, etc. I guess you can search on line for a chart on the numbers and what they are for on your vehicle. If you have your manual, it should be in there.

I wish I had a manual, it's an '89. Sounds like yer saying that the relays may be the problem? I have no turn indicators.

I was just explaining the big silver things. (relays). So do any of the bulbs light up on the turn signals? and do the break lights come on?

Good, sorry here I forgot to ask if the emergency flashers work also, can you check?

Is it possible that the two relays play any role in the blinkers? I'm about ready to just go buy one anyway...

Yes, it is going to be a turn signal relay, or a problem in the steering column. You can ask at the parts store where exactly the relay is, plus you will know what it looks like having the new relay.
