Question type: Maintenance & Repair

we received this as a church bus and before we got it it had a wheel chair lift
which someone removed now the only lights that work are the headlights
no brake, backup, turn signals, running or interior lights work alt all
all I know is that they worked before the lift was removed and I can't find a
wiring diagram for it

You need someone that has a multimeter and knows how to use it.

for sure lol even the rear carrier AC unit docent work! Ever who took out the lift done a number on it for sure!!!!

I would probably rewire the stuff that does not work rather than sort out a rats nest of wires. Good luck to you!

Thats about what I'm thinking lol the guy that had the van before us said he cut through a whole harness of wires that he thought came from the transmission

I have everything working except the overhead interior lights and the rear Carrier A/C unit probably gonna just rewire the lights to a toggle switch and have no idea about the ac unit the company sent me the entire wiring diagram for every model Startrans made like 3-400 pages lol but it would take a rocket scientist to comprehend the layout hahahaha I'm just gonna do it the country boy way and rewire what I can

Now you need someone to donate to you a wire harness, lol. My guess is previous owner hacked into the main or body harness, which will be a nightmare to wire back together. If you can identify which harness was cut into, you might be able to score a replacement harness from a local salvage yard or Pull a Part. Brake and tail lights usually belong to the body harness, it's also the biggest harness that can run the full length of the vehicle. Harness bundles are also color coded, so maybe the previous owner can point out just where he did any cutting and someone can painstakingly solder them back together, youtube has lots of how to's on splicing and resoldering wires and shrink tubing them back together.
