related question, after i did the swap to the 305ci in the toyota, would i have to upgrade the entire drivetrain b/c of the extra power or will it be only a few parts,eg: axles,clutch driveshaft?

on top of the ridiculous amount of fabrication, custom motor/ tranny mounts...and fitment issues. the answer to your question is yes. new tranny, torque converter, driveshaft, and read end. all of which will have to be fabricated and modified to fit into a vehicle they aren't meant to be in. this is a project a novice shouldn't touch and one that will result in a parts list that would cost more than the worth of the truck
