300,000 miles, WOW! You're not complaining, are you?? When was the last time you had your car serviced?

If it will run on starting fluid for a few seconds then you are definitely not getting fuel to the throttle body. Are you sure there's only one filter? The 2001 Camry had one just behind the air box. Check it out in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3hEqkqc7sQ Have you checked the fuel pump relay as well? The only other things would be a bad fuel pressure regulator or no power to the injectors. You can test for fuel pressure with a gauge and you can test the injectors with a noid light. If injectors are getting zero power, that means your computer is bad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_teotIHmz7U

If the fuel pressure isn't right ....nothing is right. Car is broke. Need Fuel Pressure Gauge installed for proper diagnosis.

jimmbo77-. How is my post not helpful? I asked you when you last had your car serviced?? Look, maybe you work on your car, but, remember, modern cars are like rolling computers, so, if you are stuck, maybe you really need a professional in this case... And, I'm congratulating you on going 300,000 miles, that's a remarkable achievement in anyone's book... This car owes you nothing, even if you crushed the whole damn thing, you would have still been ahead.. I don't know if you plan to try for another 100K, or maybe you had to put in a new transmission.. , but, again, you've gone 300,000 miles. SO, be happy that you are actually one of the lucky ones that made it this far one one car!

New parts are NOT always good parts. Check the Fuel Pressure with the appropriate gauge.

When the engine is running....any warning lights on or flashing?. Consider checking the Trottle Body and Idle Air Control devices for cleanliness. Also...make sure all the vacuum lines are in the right place.

You might also check the Fuei Delivery System. We use a fuel pressure gauge. Where is the fuel filter on this vehicle?
