tires in snow

Question type: General

Is there some type of snow traction devices I can put on the tires of my Ford C-
Max?

Of course but good snow tires are the best choice.

I realize that snow tires are best but that wouldn't be practical for me, as I don't plan to drive in snow. I just want to be safe if I encounter chains-required conditions. The owners manual says chains are not approved for use with my vehicle, so I was wondering if there were any other chain-type options that are safe for my car.
