Breaks quit working.

Asked by KCCarprobs Nov 23, 2019 at 08:08 PM about the Buick LeSabre

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Buick LeSabre  my brakes
became soft. We put new fluid in. We drove
about 10 Mike's and suddenly the medal
gave way to floor with no breaks. I put more
fluid in but still hardly any pressure when u
pump them up. Any clues to what it may be
or what I should do?

You have a leak or you have a bad master cylinder. Obviously you can't drive it anymore without brakes, so tow it to a shop.

One of the brake lines probably rusted out . Park it and find the leak/problem . Or take it to a garage for god knows how much . Those are good cars , if you have the $$ or ability keep it . I have an 2002 and have done a lot of work on it .
