2000 buick century

engine reves up really high when in park. Heater is
not blowing hot air. Its luke warm at best. The
serpentine belt is loose .  the car went dead at a
stop light but crunk back up.
What could be the problem?

fix the belt issue first , it has a tensioner and should not be loose , something broke like the tensioner or idler pulley
