air vents

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

when i turn on the air to defrost windshield i get  no air on windshield  or floor
only on dash has anyone had this probem if so please share your advice on
what it is or how you solved the problem

It sounds like the air ducts have become disconnected from their channels or breached causing the air to fill the dash cavity and escape under the panel. Unfortunately fixing it may involve removing the dash or at the very least the center dash console. If you are unsure of doing this your self it would be wise to have a mechanic do it as most of the locking mechanisms are plastic and can break easily.
