can I replace a trhottle body with one that has a different part number

Yes you can. Long as it is the same style throttle body, that is if this is a TBI throttle body which goes up to 1995. But if it is newer, its the Throttle Positioning Sensor that needs to be for your vehicle on the throttle body.
