My 1991 Honda Civic SI Hatch won’t turn over.

Asked by bndpaintbox Aug 08, 2019 at 11:37 PM about the Honda Civic Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It started fine. I drive a few miles parked for a few
minutes and when I went to start it again it only
has lights and buzzers on and won’t turn over at
all. Just nothing.

Most likely, you have a dead battery that was depleted by a bad alternator. You have enough electricity in the battery to light the lights but not enough to turn the starter motor. I'm guessing you hear a clicking when you try to start.

Thank you for your reply, I fixed the problem today. It was my clutch pedal ignition lock switch.
