Subaru WRX Exhaust

Asked by Jan 14, 2018 at 10:54 PM about the Subaru Impreza WRX

Question type: Car Customization

I was wondering if it’s possible if I put on a pair of
muscle car exhausts, like magnaflow or flowmaster
on a 2016 WRX Premeium? Or do I have to get a
special kind?

The best performing, best sounding exhausts will be made specifically for your car. I would search via google and see what other enthusiasts are purchasing for their WRX cars.

Please restate your question, as it's semantically challenged.

I would get a custom exhaust ran. It’ll be a little more expensive but it’s worth it to have a better flow. Maybe 3in pipes all the way down.

3" pipes would reduce low end torque, so if a daily driver that would be a mistake. For high speed track use maybe not.
