I was driving over some bumps and my
electrical system shut off what do I do to fix
it and what could the problem be?

do you mean you lost all power, no dash lights or anything, or will the vehicle just not start? If everything went out, I mean everything, then you might have lost battery ground. check all connections. if there are still lights radio etc, but it wont start it might be the inertia switch. cuts off power in the event of an accident. sometimes hitting bumps will trip them if they get weak. I believe it is located under the kick panel on the passenger side on your model.

check your battery cables and your electrical part of your ignition switch.
