Toyota Prius C question about battery

Hi my name is Thabie I am potentially considering the prius C as one of my potential next
car options. My questions would fall under I believe both general questions and
maintenance repair category. It is about the battery toyota says it is covered under
warranty 8 years or 100,000 miles . After that is it expensive to have the battery replaced
in the prius C? Dose anyone drive it what are your experiences with it .

I'm not sure about the battery replacement, but the car itself is perfect for commuting. Very good gas mileage, easy to park. Basically its a good commuting car.

Most batteries don't need to be replaced, only repaired. I'm not positive about the Prius C, but the overall cost of repairing hybrid batteries has dropped drastically since they were introduced. I just repaired my 2006 with 2 new cells. Cost was a couple hours and $80. Check YouTube for videos on how to replace damaged cells for the Prius C.

I'm 6'2' and spend about 7 hours a day behind the wheel of mine. I've also take 3 cross country trips in it. Speaking for myself, I find it comfortable, inexpensive, and as reliant as any car I've ever owned. Service is on par with what you'd pay for virtually any other vehicle, as long as you keep up with it. Good luck!
