engine light blinking

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Engine light was on for about a month and went out and came back on again.  Now the car is sputtering when I accelerate or sitting idle.  What could the issue be?

my car has done the same exact thing and it has a 4-cylinder engine. wiggle the fuel injectors to see if their loose ( they look cylindrical with a small hose on them about a little less than a half inch thick on the front top part of the engine) if they r loose then the O ring has ben broke limiting fuel getting to the engine and should be fixed soon Hope this helps
